When people talk about Dermatitis they are referring a lot of times to eczema, but eczema is only one type of dermatitis: atopic dermatitis. The term itself means inflammation of the skin and it encompasses different variations or types (like contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, neurodermatitis, etc.)
The factors that cause dermatitis are still being studied by doctors and medical researchers. However, as we begin to understand the problem, we can see that there are certain factors that contribute to its appearance. These are factors that can either trigger the inflammation or can worsen the condition resulting in an itchy rash.
Among the common factors that could cause dermatitis we find: allergies, humidity changes, stress, emotional ups and downs, certain type of food such as spicy food and the consumption of alcohol and tobacco. Dermatitis can also be caused by certain irritants like those found on pesticides, paint strippers, perfumes, astringents, and detergents just to name a few.

Smoking is one of the major cause of heart diseases in most of the countries and many people die every year and affects almost every person no matter what his age is. It does not only affect the smoker but the people around him. It can lead to coronary heart diseases and the substances present in the cigarette cause plaques in the arteries which blocks them and is a major cause of atherosclerosis in which fatty substances build up in the arteries. Atherosclerosis occurs when lining of the arteries deteriorates, the walls of arteries thicken and fat is deposited in the arteries that blocks the flow of blood and the organs are deprived of oxygen and other nutrients as a result. This causes extra strain on the heart and causes chest pain or angina. When the coronary artery gets blocked due to a blood clod, heart attack occurs. Now what smoking does is that it speeds up the process of atherosclerosis. It damages the lining of the blood vessels and heart and as a result causes blood clot to form earlier then it happens in other cases and so the more you smoke the more are the chances of heart attack. Apart from that it can also cause high blood pressure, stroke and many other heart problems.
Nicotine is one of the main toxin present in a cigarette and its a stimulant. When a person smokes, its taken quickly into the blood and carried to all parts of the body. Then all the excretory effects cause the heart to over work and this happens whenever you smoke so it is likely to cause heart diseases.
