These days, we all are so busy that we do everything in a hurry and even when we sit down on our dinner table for lunch or dinner, we just gobble it down. And this leads to stressful and unhealthy living because eating fast is not good for our health and you know why?
Eating slowly can change our lifestyle and health and it isn’t that hard? What you need to do is take small bites and chew it slowly, and that way you enjoy the food better then when you eat it fast. Eating slowly will just take a few extra minutes and those extra minutes will not harm you but instead it will be good for your health.
- Many people dont know that that by eating slowly you consume less calories and infact you can lose 20 pounds in one year by just eating slowly. A number of studies have shown this that eating slowly is better for you health. The reason behind this is that it takes at least 20 minutes for our brain to register that we are full and when we eat fast, we can continue eating past the point when we are full without even realizing it. So if we eat slowly, we have time to know that we are full.

- Eating food slowly leads to better digestion because the digestion starts from mouth, so the most its done in the mouth and chewed properly, less work has to be done in the stomach and so it prevents many stomach problems as well.
- It can make you life less stressful. As when you are eating in a hurry, you are thinking that what you will do next after eating. So when you eat slowly without thinking about anything it will lead to a less stressful life.
