Apart from mood swings, there are alot of other symptoms of depression, one of them is that when you feel guilty even though you have not done anything wrong or you are slow in thinking about something and reacting. These are all because of depression which is a disease itself. It can lead to annoyance in life, and can make you very serious and unable to work and participate socially. If an individual experiences depression for an extended amount of time, this can become a very serious issue. As a matter of fact, it can result in one’s ability to function inappropriately. The depression itself can make us feel as if it’s of no use to search for help. There are some people however who can’t shake their depression and it lingers for months on end. What then are the depression causes?
So here are some of the symptoms of Depression
One of the causes of Depression is Stress. When you are working a lot and not taking enough rest and giving you mind a time to relax and take too much stress which can wear out your nervous system and drain your body from nutrients necessary for the nervous system to work properly. In other words, he many demands made of our lives by our busy lifestyles can cause stress. And when we are overwhelmed by these demands, we lose our elasticity to cope and deal with them.
Another cause is illness. When you are sick you might develop depression. Being stricken by an illness makes one feel insecure and incapable. An unhealthy lifestyle can lead to depression as well. It is when you dont do proper exercise to keep your body healthy and take too much tea, coffee or anything like that, it might lead to depression. So you should be aware of the fact that a proper diet and exercise can help you get away from this.
Another major cause of depression according to some people is thinking. When you think too much about some things then you might be suffering from depression. Wondering how? In this possibility you create an imaginary problem. To this problem you add other imaginary problems and increase the problem. By the time you have finished thinking about the very large and worrisome problem, it has become much worse than it really is. The worry of this imaginary problem has caused you to become depressed over nothing.
So If you think you are experiencing something like that or some of your friend of family member experience anything like this, then the best option would be to consult a professional or a doctor. Therefore if your life feels like it is becoming too much for you or if a problem in your life has caused you to become depressed for quite a while, the chances are that you will need to evaluate your life and find out what are the depression causes in your life. Hopefully by knowing what causes depression we have a chance to stop depression from ruling our lives.
